Get the apps that exist.

One of these is a download, one runs in the browser, one is in beta, and two have not been released. The list below says which is which.

The apps

Available

Nova for macOS

A browser where a tab can also be a terminal. One universal build covers Apple silicon and Intel Macs.

Requires macOS 13 or later.

The build is provided from the account area, so you will be asked to sign in before the download starts.

No download

Tincograph AI

The AI workspace runs in the browser. There is nothing to install and nothing to update — open it and sign in.

Works on the desktop and on a phone browser.

Read what it does on the Tincograph AI page first if you would rather.

Beta

Mobile companion — iOS and Android

The phone app carries your account and the camera link, which lets a phone you already own act as a camera for another of your devices.

It is not in the App Store or on Google Play, so there is no store link to give you. Builds go out to testers one at a time.

Not released

Video editor and Gallery

Both are still being built. There is no download, no beta and no date — when either ships, it will be written up in the changelog rather than announced here first.

Verifying your download

A macOS release build is meant to be signed with an Apple Developer ID certificate and notarised by Apple, so that macOS can check it before it runs. If you want to confirm that for yourself rather than take our word for it, run these two commands against the app after you have moved it into your Applications folder:

spctl --assess --type execute -vv /Applications/Nova.app
codesign --display --verbose=4 /Applications/Nova.app

The first should report the app as accepted, with a notarised Developer ID source. The second should print an authority chain naming a Developer ID Application certificate. We do not publish separate checksums: the signature is the check, and a checksum on the same page as the download proves very little.

If a build you have downloaded does not pass those checks, do not open it. Tell us where you got it, atsupport@tincograph.com, and we will look into it.
